Postfun
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
About
Postfun is a rock band from Halifax, NS that seamlessly melds the influence of midwest emo, post-hardcore and alt-country together with a staunch Maritime authenticity. Capturing the harsh truths of East Coast living and the nostalgia of turbulent adolescence, this genre-fluid and, at times, erratic approach invites every listener and audience member to be a main character in Postfun’s raucous and peculiar world. The band’s latest EP, Furniture (2024), highlights their infectious energy, their love for storytelling, and their peculiar take on indie rock conventions – all of which is a staple of their performances both on stage and on record.
