POSTER BOY
Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
About
POSTER BOY is a duo rock project originating from Minneapolis. Multi-instrumentalists Cole Pivec and Henning Hanson met on the first day of college at the University of Minnesota. A year of friendship and musical collaborations led to the creation of their first band, Dial Tone. Gaining a reputation in the local music scene for high energy performances, the two began focusing their energy towards curating a personal new aesthetic. Hanson and Pivec bring together decades of training in classical, jazz, theater, and rock to create a unique sound formed in their bedroom studio. Their debut EP, set to be released later this year, establishes the duo's commitment to pushing boundaries. Their pop-inspired songwriting fuses acoustic instrumentation with catchy, hard hitting lyricism. POSTER BOY has not plans to slow down any time soon.
