About
Seamlessly combining honeyed, warm vocals with dreamy, psychedelic arrangements, Pomaa is an expert in musical balance. Her debut EP, <a href="spotify:album:2iW7X4a5PyGaw51VPnIPOf" data-name="Bridge to Somewhere">Bridge to Somewhere</a>, was written in a time of flux and inspired by the many ways in which relationships had to shift and change with the onset of the pandemic. Lead singles, <a href="spotify:track:37wiRhvcnWW1LEGHtXv1Hj" data-name="Back in Time">Back in Time</a> & <a href="spotify:track:4rcC84v55xlBK2ckv34SvA" data-name="Wide Eyed">Wide Eyed</a>, were well received, garnering airplay on PBS, RTRFM, Edge Radio and 3CR as well as Spotify playlisting spots from AIR's <a href="spotify:playlist:7BN4SB6p37bU3NUDJPERVs" data-name="NEW RELEASES - OCTOBER">NEW RELEASES - OCTOBER</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:3qnDzWns6sKbvp6DwlgAmT" data-name="The Australian Music Scene">The Australian Music Scene</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:1q5vxxhq94aHpfRd7Vx2l6" data-name="TheMusic.com.au - Underground Victoria">TheMusic.com.au - Underground Victoria</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:6WhEtaQYjVJv2blFllqYkg" data-name="The Underground Stage: New Australian Music">The Underground Stage: New Australian Music</a>. Speaking on the themes of the EP, Pomaa said, “This collection of songs reflects on relationships that may come to an end prematurely whilst still having hope that they will continue. I feel like the phrase bridge to somewhere really encapsulates that feeling of an unpredictable future” These releases are a follow-up to Pomaa’s debut single <a href="spotify:track:77zyIvvkzn1O6rd6BZUkyU" data-name="I Can't Wait 'Til This Doesn't Matter">I Can't Wait 'Til This Doesn't Matter</a>.
