POET The Band

About
POET The Band is a modern alternative metal act pushing the boundaries of what a fully independent band can achieve. Based in Bristol, Tennessee (with Detroit, Michigan as a second home market), the band formed online two years ago and has since built an empire from the ground up. With two self‑produced EPs (Death Era and The Prologue), they’ve collaborated with elite names like Grammy‑winning mastering engineer Ted Jensen (Bring Me the Horizon, Spiritbox, Kendrick Lamar), producer Cameron Mizell (Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire, Machine Gun Kelly), and acclaimed arranger Dave Eggar (Coldplay, Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfold). In just 30 months, POET has executed three national tours, released 11 self‑directed music videos, and runs the whole operation in‑house (booking, marketing, production, merch, analytics - at a pro-label standard.) That strategy has delivered over 100,000 YouTube views, 100,000+ Spotify streams, strong engagement, and high live ticket sales all on a shoestring budget. Currently filming their documentary Modern Day Poets, featuring interviews with industry veterans like Josh Balz (Motionless in White, Danny Wimmer Presents) and Todd McCarty (ex-VP of Marketing at Sony, General Manager of Fearless / Century Media Records). POET is a DIY band with the systems and quality of a major label ready to scale. For fans of Bad Omens, Wage War, Bring Me the Horizon, and I Prevail, POET The Band is a name to remember.
