During the dawn of the new world (or around 2021 if you’re boring) a crusty crew consisting of Captain Steve “McFilthy” Hartwick (Bass/Vocals), First Mate Ana “Phylaxis” Williams (Drums), and the Terror of The Deep: Sharky “Chris Dammert” (Guitar/Vocals) joined forces to create the sweet scourge of the punk music scene of Salt Lake City: Pirates of the Promised Land. Since then, PotPL have forged their unique (non-pirate themed) sound from the flotsum and jetsam of the crews that preceded them such as Blink-182, The Lawrence Arms, and Alkaline Trio, as well as the music from within their own damned, dirty souls. The first collection of these masterful siren songs is available now, on their debut EP “Porthole Privateers.” They have been pillaging and plundering their way around the likes of Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah, as well as Las Vegas, Nevada and Denver, Colorado. Idaho will also soon be under siege by these salty sailors as the winds of adventure and an unquenchable lust for booty carry them to Boise. And just remember… they are your friends, and they always will be!!!
