About
Pink Motel is the sonic vision of Kristi Magdalene — a cinematic rock experience born from chaos, clarity, and rebellion. After surviving a near-death brain injury while studying film at USC, Kristi realized music was her calling: not just to express, but to transform. Her performances are wild, unpredictable, and immersive — often involving the audience in the art itself. She draws from rock, punk, pop, and protest music to explore trauma, healing, mental health, and political awakening. Think Taylor Swift meets System of a Down — if they played barefoot in a burning chapel. Pink Motel isn’t just a band. It’s a movement. A confrontation. A conversation. And at its core: a deep belief that music is a mirror for the truth. “The most important thing about music that I’ve learned after all this time is that to me, it’s a way of reaching the truth.”- Serj Tankian
