About
Phil Makes is an indie rock artist based in New York and Nashville. Following the success of his debut album, “Continental,” he’s released two more singles in 2025: “Leave the Man Alone” and “Split Decision.” All the music was written and recorded in his home studio. For the latest single, “Leave the Man Alone,” Brian Virtue, known for his work with Jane’s Addiction, handled the mixing. “Continental” and “Split Decision” were mixed by Geoff Sanoff, the chief engineer at Steven Van Zandt’s Renegade Studio in the West Village. A special shoutout to Jesse Malin for his support.
