Initially meeting in various other bands, these Lubbock musicians have a broad variety of influences, from Texas Country, Funk, Pop, and Prog Rock. Kristopher Schmitt drives the project with his unique vocals, keyboards and pop influences. Justin Lentz and Micah Vasquez lay down knee deep grooves on drums and bass, respectively, and Austin Mapes and Jared Brandon bring a lush soundscape and soaring melodies on guitars. Together they meld their individual styles to create a unique rock sound infused with ear-catching melodies. Framed in a pop/rock package, their music looks towards a hope even in the darkness; the smell of fresh rain on dry earth.
