About
Hailing from Boise, Idaho, Pelicanesis is an Alternative Pop/Rock group initially consisting of vocalist and lead guitar Grant Meister, rhythm guitar Ashleigh Cisario, bassist Ella Thurston, and drummer Andrew Hamel. Their first single, We Like Ike, was the result of practice sessions at the Hive, a non-profit recording studio in Boise. With the success of this song, and a growing following on social media, Pelicanesis released a second single, Trebuchet and has since played several DIY shows with other local bands such as Neocentrics, Vemm, Switch Full Lotus, and Crush The Monster. They played Treefort Music Festival in March 2022, and plan to release a debut EP this summer.
