Parting Skies

About

Newcastle, NSW Australia // Chris Hunt - Vocals // Shawn Brown - Guitar // Johnny Hunt - Bass // Rhys Zacher - Drums // Restored is the first EP release for Parting Skies, however the music was first created around 2004. Different music opportunities presented themselves to members in the band and the music was lost. Fast forward to 2020, and 3 of the original band members (Chris, Shawn and Johnny) decided to have a bit of fun and get a song or two down in the studio. Something to be proud about and something to show their friends and families. But the original members realized that the songs were in a genre of music that has been lacking in the Australian Music Industry for a fair few years. And so, the journey began to record more songs, create an EP and hopefully do a few tours and finally share the great music they had stored away all these years. The band is currently focusing on getting the music out into the social atmosphere and will look at heading back into the studio in the near future with a follow up EP. Yours Truly, Parting Skies
