Paper Lung

About

Paper Lung started in 2015 with brothers Keegan Montgomery on guitar/vocals and Caleb Montgomery on drums. Childhood friend Corey Melton joined the two-piece as a bassist completing the lineup as a trio. A year later, guitarist Abdullah Mahmood joined the band following the release of their debut EP 'Singles'. The band has played at various venues throughout the city of Columbus and with many local bands, some of whom became good friends. The band released their second EP, 'Paper Lung' in 2018. The band then consisted of members, Oliver Moehring on bass, Caleb Montgomery on drums, and guitarists Keegan Montgomery, and Abdullah Mahmood. After the release of their live EP, ‘Live At Mooney’s’ they decided to split up. As of Summer 2020 the band currently consists of Keegan, Caleb, Corey, and Abdullah reunited and returning to their roots of writing songs in whatever form or fashion they see fit.
