Palafico Honey
London, ENG, United Kingdom
About
Londoners Palafico Honey were conceived by chance when Tom overheard Ellie singing Ella Fitzgerald in the shower. A shared love for soulful vocalists and groove-laden instrumentals, from Sade to Crazy P, led to the band's debut release 'Nothing Sweet' with Midnight Riot in 2018, as Cappa & Daniel-San. The band renamed as Palafico Honey and moved from Edinburgh to London, producing and recording from home. The music sits somewhere between acoustic soul and nu-disco, indie r&b and funky house. Palafico Honey are hard to pin to one genre. And that's kind of the point. Ellie also records under the moniker Mr. Beale, featuring on the new Demuja album - while Dan produces under the alias Geo Taguchi, with tracks on both Stolen Groove and Groove Co. Tom, Ellie, Cappa and Dan
