O. Wake
Brooklyn, New York, United States
About
O. Wake is the brainchild of visual artist and songwriter Ofer Shouval, a fixture in Brooklyn’s music scene since 2019. Blending art pop’s imagination with a post-punk edge, Shouval crafts poignant, often wry explorations of modern anxieties and absurdities—his lyrics unfolding like vivid vignettes against dynamic, immersive soundscapes. With a delicate balance of vulnerability and understated swagger, O. Wake’s music invites movement, introspection, and an ever-shifting spectrum of emotion.
