Neu Blume

About

Neu Blume is a Detroit-based group led by Mo Neuharth and Colson Miller. They both love making dinner which is what you should picture as the backdrop of every song. The music is the alternative folk flavor of indie rock primarily made for babies and pets while the dinner is being made. With sweet yet dissonant melody-driven songs, the duo push artful songwriting to the forefront accompanied by a rotating group of raw musical talent. Neu Blumes's sound began as an extension of the album Desire (Nanami Ozone, 2016). This collection of jangly genre-overlapping songs was where they discovered their musical bond original members of Nanami Ozone. Now, the two settle into a more intimate and mature sound. Largely influenced by the life they live as midwestern transplants in Detroit, they embrace seasonal shifts and adulthood while still employing the warm tones of their youth. Both musicians descend from Phoenix, Arizona.
