About
Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Nate and the Busy Boys draw inspiration from vintage rock of the 50s and 60s, performed with equal parts technical precision and youthful abandon. Walking the line between pastiche and all-out camp, the Busy Boys are a rare combination of style and substance. Their debut album, Busy Doing Nothing, recorded live-to-tape at Keith Hallett's analog studio and produced by local lo-fi recording guru Adam Mowery (Papal Visit), released in November 2024. Capturing the excitement of young musicians recording live-off-the-floor, the result is a series of genre pieces where the common thread is the unexpected.
