About
Nashon is an artist from Camden, New Jersey, blending raw emotion with fearless experimentation. Starting in the underground rap scene with sounds reminiscent of XXXTENTACION and ZEDSU, he evolved into a genre-defiant voice, weaving alternative indie, future soul, and drum & bass into his work. Drawing influence from genre-bending artists like Steve Lacy, Jean Dawson, and Teezo Touchdown, Nashon’s sonic palette is as diverse as it is deliberate. Themes of relationships, self-growth, spirituality, and the complexity of the human psyche run through his work, turning each song into a page of personal reflection. After releasing the MARTYR EP trilogy under Atlantic Records and vnclm_, he’s now independent—focused on new sounds and deeper stories. His next chapter, VAGABOND, is a concept album that pushes even further into the unknown.
