Muunjuun
Sonoma, California, United States
About
Muunjuun (pronounced moon-june) creates music that traverses several styles, ranging from psychedelic jazz-pop to avant, funky progrock and roll, while maintaining a distinct sound that stimulates the listener's imagination in a playful, inventive, and occasionally sensual way. Muunjuun's debut LP "Unusual Rounds: The Introductory Collection" was released on June 14th, 2019. Except for Gabe Katz playing the amazing drums on “Took One Look,” all exclusively Muunjuun songs were composed, performed, and produced by Curtis James in western Sonoma county, California. Curtis (33) grew up in Ventura, CA and moved to Sonoma County in 2012. Photography (beach and cat photos) by Giant Eye.
