About

MORG is a world renowned cinematographer based in Los Angeles, California. Since first hearing Dr. Dre "The Chronic" while growing up in San Diego, music has been a lifelong passion. Signed as a pro skater in his early teenage years, he toured and competed until retiring in 2001 from injuries while filming his last skate section in Long Beach California. With the last bit of money made from his sponsors, he bought his first camera and began filming music videos for various LA /NY hip hop artists. With no formal film education he worked his way up the industry ladder to become an international Director of Photography by the early 2010's. During his entire career music has been a driving force and side hobby. Previously a member of @Nightshift, a hip hop collective that collaborated East and West Coast artists, he parted ways in 2022 after releasing 4 studio albums . His most recent solo album "Per Diem" is primarily produced by Detroit's own Foul Mouth, blending soul sample beats with Morg's laid back flow. One of the most important components of "Per Diem" are features from some of the most legendary emcee's coast to coast, a salute to the artform. MORG maintains his passion to continue creating an underground collection of music tucked away from the limelight and cameras.
