MoLD

About

During the fall of 2021 we loaded up our gear in the MoLD van and drove to the Swedish coastal country side to work with the legendary Swedish rock producer Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, Backyard Babies, Dismember, At the Gates, Hellacopters, Grave, Therion etc.). We stayed in the guesthouse of Sunlight Studio and during some grim, grey and rainy November days, we recorded what was to become our second album Hope Abandon All. Inspiration for the name of the title song Hope? Abandon All? comes from Dante Alighieri´s 14th-century epic poem Divina Comedia, which describes Dante´s descent to hell… It can also be seen as a look upon the times we are in right now. War in Europe, recession, inflation, chaos. You are free to interpret it as you like. We want you to paint your own picture in your own mind. Whatever you think it is, it is. We are not messengers of fixed ideas. Only interpreters of our rock n roll heritage. The album is mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music New York. Line-Up: Johan Liljeberg – Lead vocals/Guitar Mattias Ekstig – Guitar Peter Lundgren – Bass Åke Lithner – Drums PS. If you like our latest album, also check out our debut album from 2019 called Horrors.
