About
Fronted by the dynamic Dylan Chambers, Midnight Transit isn't just a high-energy rock band; it's a mission-driven musical force. Dylan, the son of the legendary Lester Chambers of The Chambers Brothers, brings a rich musical legacy to the forefront. Since the age of four, Dylan has graced stages that echo with the spirit of rock 'n' roll, including BottleRock, Oracle Arena, The Troubadour, Lincoln Center NY, House of Blues Los Angeles, and the historic 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. This upbringing set the stage for Midnight Transit's explosive performances. The band's lyrics serve as a poignant mirror reflecting personal journeys and the pulse of social justice. Dylan's experiences as a Black man in America infuse authenticity into their music, creating a sound characterized by robust vocals, compelling guitar riffs, and a tight rhythm section. Their debut album, "Born To Rock," a sonic masterpiece mixed and mastered by Grammy-winning producer/engineer Dave Way, stands as a testament to their musical prowess. Teaming up with guitarist Nick Millsap and drummer/Grammy-Nominated producer Zach Nieman, Midnight Transit has earned acclaim, securing the Petaluma People's Choice Award and the title of Best Rock Band in The Northbay Music Awards. In a world hungry for impactful music and meaningful messages, Midnight Transit emerges as a beacon for rock n roll.
