Michael Cheuvront is intertwining resilience and self discovery with the return of pop in contemporary music. 
 A narrative that originally aimed to comment on the hardships of young adults has now fed into the greater human condition. With a fresh discography relative to any age, Cheuvront is redefining what a simple 4-chord progression can accomplish. 
 “Say It To My Face,” the debut album that arrived shortly after a battle with the realities of peer judgement, is a fiery return to a seemingly unmanageable musical landscape. 
 Moving away from resentment, Cheuvront locks up the past with comeback single “This Is a Sign,” where he bargains, “Who was I to tell you to say it to my face like that?” 
 His latest release from the upcoming sophomore project, “Upside,” begins to shift the lyrical conversation to a deep-dive into the downfalls of toxic positivity. With this release, Cheuvront illuminates a beacon of hope and releases himself from remaining silent on the issues he’s never publicly explored.
