Meyru
New York, New York, United States
About
Nic and Steve are cousins. Tommy is their best friend. They met Matt on Facebook. 4 albums. First one with Cal Maro. Second and Third with Sam Skinner (Pinegrove). Upcoming one with Dave Cerminara (Father John Misty, Paris Texas, Phosphorescent). The next one is probably our best yet so we’re gonna self title it. Here’s what the people are saying: “Meyru tap into New York’s indie heart” - Clash Magazine “Expertly tongue and cheek indie pop” - Earmilk “With Slow Up, Meyru have affirmed their place as one of the city’s hidden alternative / indie rock gems. With this album, they are ready to rise through the noise, rise out of the rough, and shine.” - Atwood Magazine “What the fuck is a Meyru?” - Rolling Stone Scattered, smothered and covered.
