Merakirozes

About

I am Meraki *•*•lover of sound and the world around me•*•* — •*•*•*•*•*• — Desert Archivist, Sound (REM) Weaver, Multi-instrumentalist, Explorer of Portals! Preserve, Protect, Respect! “Merakirozes” is my otherworldly, avant-garde —auditory art project. I enjoy texture and atmosphere, teleporting, and the endless possibilities that arise with imagination. My work explores environmentalism, mythology, and existential catharsis through fantastical elements and weird instruments. Full of texture and feeling, My sophomore album ‘Token Curiosities and The Search for the Sun” (2023) is a haunting, dead of winter project; complete with low toned percussion, enchanting folk instrumental, and glistening vocals that freeze faster than hypothermic blood. • “The Underworld of Endless Wandering” (2021) is a southern gothic - cinematic indie folk- concept album. The ten tracks follow an antihero navigating their way through the afterlife. After burning their house down in consciousness, they find themself embarking on a journey through a remote desert-like afterlife to avoid their hasty mistakes. Prepared to perish for good. ————————— Social SLC based — reach out if you wanna play a show!
