Matilde Heckler
New York City, New York, United States
About
Raise Mozart on a farm, play him some midwest emo, and then douse him in glitter - he’ll come out making songs like Brooklyn-based violinist and singer/songwriter Matilde Heckler. With soaring orchestral arrangements, gut-wrenching verses, and an eccentric stage presence, Heckler takes relatability and versatility seriously. Heckler is also an accomplished violinist, violist, arranger, and producer. She has performed for projects and artists including The Met Gala, Mean Girls The Musical The Movie, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker, Dermot Kennedy, Black Hibiscus, Liamani, Yoko Kanno, Rex Laurent, and more.
