About
Born and raised in Nottingham, British-Greek Marina Rose is an up-and-coming singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Delivering a fusion of Neo-Soul, R&B, Jazz and Hip-Hop, Marina is an adept lyricist who tackles some of life's biggest hurdles through storytelling and curiosity. Marina spent her teenage years singing and learning the piano. Marina has always had eclectic taste, consuming everything from A Tribe Called Quest to Roy Hargrove, to Erykah Badu, to Jeff Buckley. Other influences include: Amy Winehouse, Cleo Sol, Lily Allen and Frank Ocean. Marina's debut single Welcome Home was backed by BBC Introducing, and was played by Dean Jackson on BBC Radio Nottingham. Marina is set to release her debut EP in Spring 2023, co-produced by Devansh, featuring an exciting range of sounds from neo-soul to indie pop to trip-hop.
