Manta Rays
Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States
About
Manta Rays are an indie rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma blending classic British rock swagger with the raw soul of Middle America. Inspired by legends like Radiohead, The Beatles, Wilco, and Leon Russell, their music spans genres but stays rooted in powerful songwriting, introspective lyrics, and fearless experimentation. Since their 2015 debut EP "Bad Faith", and the 2019 full-length "Dust", Manta Rays have carved a sound that’s both timeless and politically sharp — equal parts romantic ballad and rebellious anthem. With production credits alongside Kendal Osbourne, Logan Bruhn, and bassist Britton Gregory, the band continues to push boundaries while staying true to their mission: crafting thoughtful, genre-defying rock for a world in flux.
