MANIC MONDAY is a female-fronted pop punk band from San Diego, CA. The founding members Akila Thumbiran (vocals and guitar), Melissa Carin (bass guitar), and Kate Rumann (Drums) met through their Calculus 3 class their freshman year of college. After graduation, Akila and Kate started playing together and eventually wanted to become an official band. Their main influences include Avril Lavigne, Paramore, and Blink 182.
