Man May Be

About

Founded by Hanna Eyre (The Voice season 12), Adam Keith, and Brisco Liddell, Man May Be is a collaboration some 10 years in the making. The first seeds of the band were planted when Adam [guitar], Brisco [drums] and Steven [keyboards] met while living in North Carolina in 2017. After moving back home to the Western U.S., Adam met Hanna in a songwriting class in college and the two bonded over a mutual love for classic prog and modern female-fronted rock.
Hanna, Adam, and Brisco then met for the first time just a week prior to the COVID-19 shutdown of March 2020 to form what would become the prog-metal band Man May Be.
The three then invited Steven and Matt [bass] (whom Adam had met while running sound at a venue) to join them. Structuring their debut album around a musical concept and songs that Adam had been writing for nearly a decade, the band began merging metal, EDM, classical, jazz, and other influences to produce a work full of soaring melodies, time-bending rhythms, and prog-metal grandeur.
Forced to write their debut album remotely due to the pandemic, the group released "Shadows of the Dawn" in November of 2021.
