About
Magna Carda is an American hip hop outfit based in Austin, Texas. The mc-producer duo is notable for their eclectic musical style – a genre-defying blend of rap-meets-jazz-meets-R&B-meets-electronic – and performing with elaborate live arrangements and instrumentation. Their music has been featured on TV shows and films like The Chi, Dare Me, The F*ck It List, Street Heroines and Flatbush Misdemeanors. Magna Carda draws inspiration from jazz, art, and their roots in the Black South. Their music is rooted in freedom of expression and Black liberation. New EP ‘MERCEDEZ BABIES’ out now.
