Lowbau
Vienna, Vienna, Austria
About
Keep going… A slogan burned into the hearts of all who witness a Lowbau show. Forged in Vienna, Austria, in 2005, Lowbau has been grinding relentlessly to spread the word of the riff. Their high-voltage live shows have taken them across Europe, sharing stages with some of the heaviest riff lords—Crowbar, Eyehategod, Grand Magus, 1000 Mods, Stoned Jesus, Dopelord, and many more. Their sound? A raw, riff-loaded, blues-drenched, punk-fueled wrecking ball. From the doomy depths of The EP to the metallic blues sludge of A Darker Shade of Blues, the psych-punk ‘n’ roll chaos of Urban Voodoo, and the battle-scarred gospel of Still There Is War, Lowbau refuses to fit in any box.
