Lotusville

About

Debuting his first solo project in 2023, “Bloodhound: Selections from Fine Perfumery” marked a monumental stepping stone for singer-songwriter, vocalist, producer, and composer, Jeff Y. under alias “Lotusville”. Two years later, his sophomore album “Pomelo: Evidence of Spring” stands as a testament of his continued sonic honesty and a look into grief, growth, and nostalgia. This record is much more personal and reflects thoughts during a deep loss. Lotusville crafts music at the intersection of vulnerability and atmosphere. With a producer’s ear and a poet’s pen, his songs unfold like quiet revelations—layered with analog textures, cinematic detail, and lyrics that hold weight without needing to shout. Rooted in reflection but never standing still, Lotusville draws on a wide net of influence—folk minimalism, bedroom pop intimacy, and the kind of sonic nuance that rewards close listening. His music isn’t made for the background; it’s made for intimate stillness, the turning point, the feeling you can’t quite name yet.
