Lonely Martian

About

Lonely Martian writes, records, mixes, and produces her music by herself in her home studio (hence 'Lonely' Martian). Her style incorporates aspects of post-punk, electronic, and indie rock/pop. Lonely Martian draws parallels between life as one of the first colonists on Mars and long-distance relationships, as well as other emotions that come up while being in a spacecraft for so long. You can spot Lonely Martian online and in music videos by her defining black-and-white/comic-book astronaut aesthetic. While called Lonely "Martian," she is an astronaut because once she colonized Mars, she became a Martian. Her favorite bands include The Neighbourhood, Olivia Rodrigo, Wallows, twenty one pilots, The Postal Service, Dayglow, MGMT, Absofacto, Cage the Elephant, Empire of the Sun, Foster the People, The Killers, and many more; so if you are a fan of any of these artists, Lonely Martian has been influenced by all of this great music over the course of her life. Join Lonely Martian on instagram or her newsletter to join the colony and become a Martian!!
