Logan Luther
São Paulo, SP, Brazil
About
Soulful, funky, fun and free. Steeped in the classics of Sly, Stevie, Marvin Gaye, Parliament Funkadelic, and Prince. The original music of Logan Luther is an inviting, deeply human experience through the filter of an artist committed to sharing himself genuinely. As a product of the vibrant Minneapolis music scene, Luther faithfully carries on the ‘Minneapolis Sound’ with deep funk grooves, soulful vocals, catchy melodies, and searing guitar and synth lines. From Andrew Tomten (Purple Funk Metropolis) to Ted Olsen (Ted Olsen Quartet) and Nelson Devereaux (Bon Iver, Jungle, Lizzo), Logan has performed with a vibrant, colorful tapestry of innovative Minnesota artists. Luther's new single “A True Love of My Own” is a heartfelt journey through fleeting pursuits of love and fulfillment, uncovering the truth that self-love is the ultimate source of connection. Through poignant lyrics and an emotional progression from despair to awakening, the song reveals that the most profound love lies within. Logan Luther’s forthcoming debut album traces a wide constellation of experiences and emotions, from insecurity and the addiction-filled funk of “I Can’t Pass Out Like This!,” to perseverance and the power of positivity in “The Possibilities” and “Out of Thin Air.” A common ground of human experience in which everyone can connect.
