Lil Pøøch
Columbus, Ohio, United States
About
Lil Pøøch comes at things in a very unique and interesting way, where each layer of the whole package is almost contradictory to the next. Sonically, Lil Pøøch pulls influence from bands like My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Arctic Monkeys, and Green Day, while the visual and stylistic aspect is more similar to pop artists like Prince, David Bowie, Harry Styles, and Tyler, the Creator. The group behind lead singer Lil Pøøch consists of former members of popular Columbus, OH bands Plain Old Henry and Triad Eternal. While the sound is rooted mainly in a nostalgic love for early 2000s Alt-Rock/Pop, Lil Pøøch is about not conforming to any one genre or style, but just letting every type of musical influence bleed through and show its colors. It is a rainbow of musical influences. It's about being yourself and showing who or what you are inside, even if it's not what you may appear to be on the outside. Lil Pøøch is about emotional freedom and telling stories through music.
