Lenny's Funk Club
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
About
Lenny’s Funk Club is a nine-piece band from Cambridge, MA, formed in 2020 by friends who wanted to continue making music together during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lenny’s has evolved into a prominent local act, playing venues such as The Lilypad and The Middle East Upstairs. Their music features expressive vocals, intricately layered arrangements, blistering solos, and a tasteful touch of goofiness. Underlying the infectious energy they bring to the stage are deep friendships that double as strong musical bonds, fostering an atmosphere of trust and camaraderie that can be felt at any Lenny’s show. A culmination of the group’s collaborative songwriting process, the band’s long-awaited debut EP, Day Of, was released in 2024.
