Laura Frank

About

She's a firecracker on stage with a rare gift for storytelling. Laura Frank's irresistibly fierce voice possesses a vulnerability that lets you know she's truly lived the words she sings. Her edgy Country sound draws from her love of rock poets like Bruce Springsteen and Brandi Carlile as well as contemporary trailblazers, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga. After the breakdown of a long-term relationship & subsequent collapse of her 2 businesses, the singer songwriter has undergone a whirlwind of change. Now living in a self-built home, amongst the picturesque national park of South East QLD's Scenic Rim, Frank is more inspired than ever. "This 100% changed my life." All of her singles to date have made it into the top 10 in the Australian Country Music Charts and her self made video clips have been a hit amongst fans and on CMT. Frank has supported James Blundell on multiple occasions, as well as Lime Cordiale, Chocolate Starfish & Sarah McLeod with her energetic live show. She's also slated to appear as a special guest for Daryl Braithwaite in March 2023. She has just returned from a 60+ date Australian Tour taking place across 4 states between October 23 and April 24, with Australian Country Music Legend, Tom Curtain. At the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival she took home the award for Most Promising Future Star at the Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards and in 2024 was nominated for 'Best Female Vocal' and 'Best Song' for her single, 'Hey Cowboy'.
