About
Klinkhammer is the darkpop solo project of Berlin-based artist Lisa Klinkhammer which crafts swirling, melancholic melodies over the drone of a minimalistic machine world. While all songs utilize a stripped-down, analog recipe of two synthesizers and a drum machine, the sonic environment is singularly defined by her vocals which range from serene lows to ethereal falsettos, blending across textured pop hook dirges in both German and English. Following Klinkhammer's debut EP Komatös, self-released on cassette in 2017, her LP "azure" was released by Papercup Records in October 2021. March 2022 saw the release of her song "so kalt" on the compilation Scenic Route - The Road Less Travelled Vol. 1 (Compilation) next to artists like Laura Groves and System Olympia .
