Killium

Killium is a Chicago-ish Art Punk project centered around the song-writing of Jo Killium. Full History: Killium was started as a studio solo-project by Jonas in 2017 after getting tired of waiting for a band to form within his small high school. The sound of the band began as a mix of inspirations, and the sound continues to adapt and vary, with some initial inspirations including Black Flag, Green Day, Pocket Vinyl, Dilly Dally, ALL, and Black Sabbath. While Kyle had been a part of the project since Jonas’ second release in 2018, Ryan hopped aboard in 2020 originally on Bass after being a close friend and fan from the start. At the end of 2020, after a long few years of writing and recording, Killium released their first studio album "Hollow Be Thy Brain". It is an album of cathartic art punk surrounding trauma and growing up. The band finally went from studio project to a live act in 2021 and continued trudging forward in the ultimate quest to become your favorite band. They released the project's second studio album, Manifesting Flies, on October 13th 2023 with help from Alex Gonzalez of Scarlet Demore. It is an album of Satanic musings. At the end of 2024, the project retired it's live act and returned to the studio to focus on finishing LP3 and begin writing LP4.
