Kill Jonny

About

In Dallas, 27-year-old multi-instrumentalist Kill Jonny is making waves in the emo/alternative rock scene. Formerly The OG Jonny G, he transformed into "Kill Jonny," an entity representing the dark facets of his mind. This rebrand reflects his growth and a deeper emotional connection to his music, influenced by bands like The Used and Matchbook Romance. From middle school beginnings through stints in metal to country bands, Jonny has always been enveloped in music. He writes his own songs, pulling inspiration from life traumas and his battle with mental illness. His music aims to evoke both despair and hope, serving as a sanctuary for those with similar struggles. Turning full-time musician in 2020 amidst a pandemic and a personal mental health crisis, Jonny found his lifeline in music. Today, Kill Jonny isn't just a name but a symbol of resilience and individuality. Discover his world, follow him on social media, and listen to his latest tracks to explore the nuances of a soul laid bare.
