Austin-based singer-songwriter Josh Klaus wears his heart on his sleeve and his passion in his voice. His songs about love and loss artfully combine an emotional vulnerability with shimmering pop melodies and intoxicating hooks that make you want to sing (or cry) along. Born and raised in a musical family in San Antonio, Josh spent many of his early years honing his skills as a singer and performer. His musical journey first began with playing cover songs together with his dad on lead guitar and brother playing drums in the loft (?) of their childhood home. He went on to join local bands, including Nothing More, and perform in venues around San Antonio, before his leaving to attend university in Austin, TX. Since then he has become a shining fixture of the growing Austin music community, with many performances and collaborations under his belt, including 3 years with the pop-rock band Bad Bonsai. He began his solo project JustJoshua. in 2023 with the release of his first single, “Let me go.” His music narrates the process of questioning one’s roots and learning from past mistakes and the heartache of falling in and out of love. His latest EP "Waxing and Waning" comes out August 10th.
