About
Just Khakis is a soul/pop band blending jazz, funk, and mainstream pop into a sound that’s fresh yet timeless. Formed in 2022 by a group of high school friends who reunited in college, the seven-piece ensemble—Christian Affleck (vocals), Field Behrens (bass), Marty Bodell (saxophone), Jacob Farnsworth (keys), TJ Neyman (trumpet), Curtis Schnitzer (drums), and Thomas Wintch (guitar)—quickly made a name for themselves after winning a local battle of the bands with their original music. Drawing influence from artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Bruno Mars, and Stevie Wonder, Just Khakis has performed alongside The Strike, collaborated with Lonely Ghost and the Utah Jazz NBA team, and played to sold-out crowds. The band is currently working on new music set to be released later this year, with a mission to bring people together through music, positivity, and connection.
