Jules Hiero
Berlin, BE, Germany
About
Jules Hiero’s creative blend of hip hop and jazz successfully combines imaginative, silky smooth samples with hard hitting beats, all the while retaining a mature subtlety. This is a focused artist, whose knack for eclectic fusion of styles stems from his international upbringing - the son of German and Greek parents, young Jules was digging through his parents’ vinyl collection before he could talk. Introduced to American and French Hip Hop in his teens, Jules began experimenting with making beats under the heavy influence of producers such as <a href="spotify:artist:3BeQqzKdlARoOd6y30kCO2" data-name="Pete Rock">Pete Rock</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:4s8ZGMVf3OiPktSP4ulpqU" data-name="9th Wonder">9th Wonder</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:0IVcLMMbm05VIjnzPkGCyp" data-name="J Dilla">J Dilla</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5LhTec3c7dcqBvpLRWbMcf" data-name="Madlib">Madlib</a> . Continuously developing and maturing since he first started 15 years ago, Jules’ work is characterised by a love for filtered baselines and rare samples, and was featured on playlists such as <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX0SM0LYsmbMT" data-name="Jazz Vibes">Jazz Vibes</a> , <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWWQRwui0ExPn" data-name="lofi beats">lofi beats</a> , <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWXIuW81skHVz" data-name="Changes">Changes</a> , <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWW2c0C8Vb2IR" data-name="All New Jazz">All New Jazz</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX9RwfGbeGQwP" data-name="Lo-Fi Cafe">Lo-Fi Cafe</a> .
