Jason Mays

About

Born in Sydney, Australia, Jason Mays is an artist stepping into the spotlight with his debut release, 'Daze' out April 4, 2025. Jason started writing songs at 14 out of a makeshift studio in his parents’ attic, driven by a love for raw, vivid storytelling. Influenced at a young age by the honest energy of 'The Script', 'The 1975', and early Ed Sheeran, he’s always been drawn to music that connects deeply with the essence of being human. Infusing indie-electronic-pop with his own spin, Jason channels his own experiences into songs that feel real—unpolished in their emotion and undeniably relatable. He’s here to tell it like it is, sharing stories that hit close to home, hoping listeners might catch a glimpse of themselves in the sound. Kicking things off with a sound that’s uniquely his, Jason brings authenticity and heart from Sydney to the world.
