Born and raised Gulfport MS, Jarrett W. Simmons grew up performing in church, whether that was by being part of a play, being in choir or even down to solo leads he would do it. In school much was the same he participated in a lot of talent shows and plays and he joined choir in elementary and later on joined in high school. Developing songwriting at an early age, he learned how to write music about things that come naturally from his heart. Even if you gave him a beat or tune, he could pick up on it and have a chorus written in no time. He loves to sing and make music because it’s an outlet to escape into a world where you don’t focus on everything else, it gives you a break. He just wants to be able to help other people do the same. “Maybe something that I will sing or create will help other people that’s my end goal.” he states.
