About
James The Fifth is the solo project and band of James Thomer, an LA-based musician and producer. In James The Fifth, he infuses his off kilter psych pop sensibilities with frenetic, inventive guitar-work and analog synthesizers that often recall the late 70s/early 80s art rock of Roxy Music, Talking Heads, or Robert Fripp. His funky full-length art-psych-rock debut Days Of Wine is out now on Tearjerk Records (Aus) and Mutation Records (US).
