About
IG:iamjameslaurent Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, James Laurent has quickly proven his musical prowess. Starting his music journey at 17 with a torn ACL taking away his prospects of playing professional soccer in Sweden, James turned to creating music. Countless hours, many states, and too many sleepless nights later... James became one of the youngest audio engineers ripping through the Los Angeles music scene working with artists like Nelly, A$AP, Smokepurpp, Bigheadonthebeat, Drew Love, Taiaysha, and many more. Focusing on his own artistry, James began seriously releasing music in 2021 after many years of posting at random. With an exciting blend of hip-hop, rock, and alternative influences, James has created one thrilling track after the other leading to an explosion of followers within only a year of consistent releases. With his debut album on the horizon, only the sky is the limit.
