Jack Landess

About

Jack Landess is an alternative artist and producer blending the heart of indie rock with the warmth of surf pop and ambient textures. Originally from Springfield, Ohio and now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Jack crafts music that feels personal and expansive—grounded in storytelling, layered guitar work, and carefully shaped soundscapes. Since releasing his debut EP Mocean in 2022, Jack has accumulated over 3 million streams across platforms, building a steadily growing audience drawn to his honest, cinematic approach to songwriting. His follow-up project, Revealer (2023), introduced grittier tones and deeper emotional layers, highlighting his evolution as both a writer and self-producing artist. Pulling inspiration from artists like Foals, Henry Nowhere, and Day Wave, Jack’s sound balances shimmering guitars, analog textures, and reflective lyrics—creating songs that feel at once nostalgic and forward-looking. Whether recording in his bedroom studio or experimenting with lo-fi gear, he brings intention and atmosphere to every track. Jack continues to carve out his voice in the indie scene—quietly and consistently. He's currently working on his debut full-length album, Golden Sun, exploring themes of love, connection, and the natural world. Rooted in his relationship and shaped by the outdoor environment around him, the album reflects on what it means to care for another person.
