About
Indigo Waves is a lofi psychedelic indie post-punk surf rock dream pop duo from SLC, Utah created by Austin Oestreich and Matt Mink (<a href="spotify:artist:1UYAnXSFKC0xXvFAlz6g3P" data-name="Leopard Tuesday">Leopard Tuesday</a>). Their debut, self titled album <a href="spotify:album:56IXCahgtIGhT138OItzOZ" data-name="Indigo Waves">Indigo Waves</a> came out in November 2021 and will be followed up by their sophomore album “Mirror” in early 2025. While <a href="spotify:album:56IXCahgtIGhT138OItzOZ" data-name="Indigo Waves">Indigo Waves</a> takes cues from a chill, DIY, bedroom pop aesthetic and sound, “Mirror” will be more upbeat and danceable but at the same time more dark, mysterious and mature. Their most recent singles <a href="spotify:track:0bgEMtDM03ZErVxsxgo1oi" data-name="Out The Door">Out The Door</a>, <a href="spotify:track:0uAwA37WStl0vt3AzqrK6a" data-name="Daylight">Daylight</a>, and <a href="spotify:track:1Wlsaiq5En2tDJoBpoA3zK" data-name="Smith & Weston">Smith & Weston</a> give nods to this.
