About
Illusions is a modern metalcore band forging raw emotion into cinematic intensity. Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Illusions fuses ethereal atmospheres, haunting melodies, and crushing heaviness—creating a sound that resonates with fans of Sleep Token, Bad Omens, Dayseeker, and STARSET. Fronted by powerful vocals and anchored by dark, dynamic instrumentation, the band explores themes of mental health, inner conflict, and resilience. Their music balances vulnerability and aggression, offering both catharsis and connection. Produced by Brock Richards of STARSET, Illusions' latest singles “Crimson Sky” and “Illuminate” showcase their evolution—blending immersive production with deeply personal lyricism. With a captivating female bassist bringing fierce stage energy, the band is redefining presence in heavy music. Illusions invites listeners to step into the shadows, confront the chaos, and find light within the noise.
