Icarius
The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
About
Icarius exists since 2012 and comes from The Hague. The line-up consists of three guitarists, making Icarius distinguish himself with most other Metalcore bands. The men of Icarius are influenced by the English and American Metalcore and Post-Hardcore but each of them draw inspiration from many other styles of music (from Jazz / blues bands to Prog rock bands). ICARIUS is a band with immersive, both technical and melodic songs. They have played festivals like Schollenpop and Metalcon and had nothing but awesome reviews. This band ensures for an unforgettable, energetic and powerfull performance. Make sure to check their new videoclip 'Cocaine and Caviar' on their facebookpage or check their spotify/youtube pages to get a sense of what ICARIUS is up to. Charming frontman Nick van Oorschot has a voice like a fallen angel and has the looks of a rebel lumberjack. His voice is assisted by the raw throat (and body of steel) of Lucas Fokkema. The combination of the two keep the audience in a mental hyper state in wich they cannot stand still. Icarius creates a great musical vibe and power which is the distinctive of this band.
